Hosting/Server Logs
This site is hosted on a server owned by Contabo GmbH (‘Contabo’) who are a web hosting company located in Germany. This site’s server is based in one of Contabo’s EU data centres (Nuremberg, Germany). When you access this site, your IP address, time and date of visit, user agent, page visited, referrer and status (success or error), are collected and stored in the server logs. These logs are used to ensure quality of service, and to detect and address abuse. A new log is created every 24 hours. The old log file is encrypted and kept for 14 days before being deleted from the server.
Cloudflare CDN
This site use Cloudflare (a CDN, or Content Delivery Network) to further mitigate against attacks (e.g., Distributed Denial of Service) among others. Its use also helps speed up access to the site through static content caching (static content may be delivered from a Cloudflare server geographically closer to the visitor, rather than directly from our web server). When you access this site, your request is initially routed to Cloudflare before continuing to our server. Cloudflare collects your IP address, system configuration information, and other information relating to traffic to and from our website. This information is used for security purposes. Generally speaking these raw logs are deleted within around 4 hours. This data is aggregated and made available to us in the form of reports which allow us to see basic site statistics (such as number of site visits). We cannot identify any individuals from the information provided in these reports. IP addresses are not included in these reports.

Currently, this website doesn’t collect any personal information other than that outlined for site security/performance monitoring. There is currently no third party advertising networks used and no sign up/log in. We do not run a dedicated third party analytics service, so also do not currently have a newsletter subscription option. If any of these are added to the site, this Privacy Policy will be updated to reflect the changes made, so please do check this page regularly.
